Ken Nigro -- CT, NY, NY-LI, NJ, Eastern-PA

Ken has worked in technical sales his entire career, which includes three years
with United Technologies in inside sales, and ten years with Howmet Corp., an aerospace casting and machining company, as Sales Manager selling to major OEMs such as GE and PWA. In 1990 Ken joined Currie Industries, an established sales agency that concentrated on plastic and metal component sales.

He purchased Currie Ind. in 1995, changed its name to MRC, and redirected the company’s focus toward representing manufacturers with higher-level assembly capabilities, domestically and offshore.  Ken graduated from the University of New Hampshire where he studied business and economics. He lives in Simsbury, CT with his wife, Darha, and sons Michael and Zachary. Ken's interests include boating, skiing, snowboarding, camping, and travel.

Bill Melvin -- MA, NH, ME, VT, RI

Bill joined MRC in December of 2013 after a twenty five year career with Bodycote plc, a global surface engineered solutions provider. He spent five years as a National Sales and Business Development Manager for a unique heat treatment process specific to austenitic stainless steels. Prior to that, Bill spent a majority of his time working as an Operations Manager for Bodycote’s Hot Isostatic Pressing Division, based out of Andover, MA.

Bill attended Rivier College in Nashua, NH after having completed a tour of duty with the United States Army, where he proudly served at various stateside posts, as well as in the European theater.

Bill was born and raised in Manchester, MA and currently resides in Gloucester, MA with his wife, Beth Anne and three children, Marlee, Jackson and Ruby. His favorite activities include spending time with his family, reading, playing an occasional round of golf and fishing. Bill is also involved in many civic organizations throughout the area, including his role as Director of Little League Baseball for the city of Gloucester. He is also a certified baseball umpire and certified basketball referee.

David Stricker -- MA

David's industrial design background complements his 20+ years experience as
a manufacturer's representative, giving him a thorough knowledge of most mechanical manufacturing processes and materials and an ability to work with professionals in product development and engineering. He has lectured in manu-
facturing processes at several design schools.

David earned a BA in sculpture from Beloit College, and an MFA in Industrial Design from Carnegie Mellon University. Prior to becoming a manufacturer's representative, David held corporate positions in product development, design, and project management in the toy, housewares, and building materials industries. Originally from Cincinnati, OH, David lives in Newton, MA, and is married with twin boys. In addition to his family, he enjoys swimming, tennis, and cooking.

Lauren Chamberlin

Lauren Chamberlin is MRC's office administrator. She has been with MRC since March 2001. Lauren is responsible for managing MRC's customer database and accounting function. She resides in New Hartford, CT with her husband, Tim, and their son, Billy.
